WO(A)W—hot gallery in town!
The gallery’s current exhibition curated by Matt Black and Kevin Poon has an impressive line up of artists—Julian Schnabel, Jordy Kerwick, JPW3, John Armleder, Chris Martin, Pat Steir, Daniel Crews-Chubb, Cristina de Miguel, Spencer Lewis, and Leelee Kimmel.
From the vibrant colours, and refreshing collection of works in their previous show (Romancing Relevance), WOAW transcends their current show into a mixture of modern classic, yet psychedelic vibe that has got us drowning in a variety of textures (which we love!) and is meticulously curated of what seems to have a matching playlist—more than just the visuals, but a complete change of atmosphere as soon as you walk in.
Speaking for its own truth under the layers and layers of texture, medium and colour, each work showcases its own strong composition, power, “flavour”, and extravagance—(another) definitely must see exhibition!
