What is the toughest thing about being an art director?
The toughest thing about being the Art Director is to be aware of the need of the artists, the proper way to exhibit their works, to be able to promote exhibit, chose the works of some artists against others. It is following your Vision; even if your decisions are not always commercially successful but has created something with your artist that makes a mark culturally.
Galleria Duemila, which has now been in existence for 47 years. I am still the one managing it. I need to understand the new world in front of me. It is very exciting and at the same time frightening in this time of pandemic. This situation had brought changes and has delayed plans. The computer has brought a total new dimension on the way of exhibiting and selling online. I am still learning the advantages that it brings and in what ways it can show the full experience of an exhibition.
